Project P918 – a modified classic vehicle built on license from OEM
Ericsson Automobile is a Swedish-Italian company headquartered in Lugano, Switzerland.
Our aim is to take a leading position in the prospering market of reborn high-end classic cars.
In doing so, we bring together iconic automotive designs with innovative and sustainable
engineering. We have development activities in Gothenburg and Bournemouth and are
preparing to build our cars in small limited series in Turin.

We are looking for an experienced automotive person with good knowledge in BOM built up,
drawing handling and more connected to the administration connected to engineering work
for a vehicle development perspective. Temporary contract over initially a 6-month period,
starting from x February 2022 to build up the base of vehicle info that will be used internally
Ericsson Automobile to secure all activities needed to achieve our project targets. Potentially
extension can be part of the scope.

The role
You will be working closely with our Prototype Workshop in Dorset (outside Bournemouth)
with its team of skilled artisan coachbuilders, fitters, automotive electricians, drafters, and
engineers as well as our Procurement and Aftermarket team to build up the required data.
Regular presence in Dorset required. The role reports to the Project Leader P918.

The task
As a BOM responsible, you handle the complexity of parts and variant structure. Will
implement and build up the BOM structure in our EXCEL Database.
Active workspace, both in development phases, running production and aftermarket and
handle deviations if needed. You work in close cooperation with many stakeholders. You act
as a representative for your area in different forums when needed.

About you
We are looking for you that have a passion for cars and focus on quality and results. We
believe that you have Technical University degree or equivalent. You have knowledge from
different Automotive PDM-Systems and interest in the structure of the vehicle as well as
experience of working with BOM (Bill Of Material). You are fluent in English (written and
spoken). As a person you are very structured, detail oriented alongside that you have an
analytical mindset. You like to search for information, asking questions and have an urge to
cross connect all input to bring out the best solutions, as your work will have an impact on
other parts of the company.

having interpersonal skills and gain trust by deliver with high quality. Lastly, we believe that
